Taking Care of Your Beautiful Handcrafted Pieces
To ensure the longevity of your exquisite handcrafted jewelry, please treat them with care, and they will continue to adorn you for years to come.
Wearing Your Jewelry
We advise against wearing your jewelry in water, especially in chlorinated pools and hot tubs. Remember to remove your pieces before sleeping and when applying cosmetics, perfumes, sprays, creams, and oils.
Cleaning Your Jewelry
Cleaning your jewelry is a simple process. Here's how to best care for your specific pieces:
-
10k and 14k Gold: Create a mixture by combining a few drops of mild dishwashing soap with warm water. Allow your pieces to soak in this solution for approximately 15 minutes. For intricate areas, gently use a soft bristle toothbrush. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. You can further enhance the shine with a polishing cloth.
-
Sterling Silver: Make a paste by mixing baking soda and warm water. Apply this mixture to your jewelry, then rinse with warm water and pat dry. A polishing cloth can be used to restore its luster.
-
Gold Vermeil: Clean your pieces with a soft, dry cotton or microfiber cloth. Avoid using water or chemical cleaners, as they may strip away the gold finish.
Storing Your Jewelry
To prevent scratches, we recommend storing each of your pieces separately. This is especially important for sterling silver and gold vermeil. Store them in an airtight container to shield against oxidation and tarnishing. To prevent tangling of necklaces and bracelets, close the plastic bag over the end of the chain, allowing the end to dangle slightly. Always keep your jewelry away from extreme heat or moisture.
